Soy wax is a vegetable wax with a low melting point. It is a result of the hydrogenation of soybean oil. It appears in white scales. It is soluble in oil and insoluble in water. It melts at temperatures between 42 and 50oC. It is perfect for ointments, massage candles or scented decorative candles as they allow up to 10% essential oils. Suitable for vegan cosmetics.
